u're right, shad rap is the best lure for me so far..

@ toman; i have kept the channa aurantimaculata, maruliodes and micropeltes. The micro's are by far the most aggresive but outgrow the tank in a short time. I fed them very often because it's so cool to see but very soon my 400 liter tank was getting a bit small for them

yeah..that's what happen to me...i released it back to the wild then...
anyway, for your information local name for channa micropeltes in malaysia is Toman...
i love to fish them rather than to keep them as pet...

i'd love to go fishing for channa one day. I've seen how agressive they can be and it must be such a thrill to hook one.

correct jat, now is the mating season...the mama's aren't aggresive anough..
go for the bachelors..they are in heat now..sounds funny but it's true..lol
