Welcome aboard! Just as a heads up, you also may know him from his auctions on ebay - his store is our latest and greatest addition to our growing list of friends, "Lyubaka's Baits" Thanks for posting the pics, nice work! Keep them coming! And I have got to see that carp on a Rapala too...

Ted, the first picture in the thread has the tiny Floater in the Carp's mouth but I will try and find another pic of my archive:
Oh ok, now I see it, sometimes some of the images don't display right, thanks to the webfilter they have at work....
Still....carp on a rapala...

hey lyubaka, just wondering what dam you fish at, i also fish some on the big river, usually near Biron Dam or Petenwell dam. if you ever get over that way, we'll have to make a few casts. i know right now that the white bass are running at petenwell, you can take 300 in an afternoon if you can just find a place to stand and cast. alot of hmong fisherman pile up here fishing for white bass, and they take them by the thousands, its really something, i couldnt imagine having to clean the fish they take from that river, i usually stop after an hour or less and only take about 30 of the biggest ones, cause it takes you way longer to clean them then it does to catch them, if the weather swamps me out of farming on one of these weekdays, im headed over to beat the crouds. last year on memorial day was the only chance i had to go over there, and it was asshole to belly button with fisherman, and i never heard a word of english spoke the whole time, but everyone was catching fish, as was i, all was good. good luck out there on the big river lyubaka, and all our other Wi brethren.
had 10 minutes of fishing last night before i tried to shoot in the rain, more or less to just check out the new rig. i couldnt take it anymore and went ahead and bought a carrot stix to match up with my new revo, kinda a pricey combo, but ohhhh my god is it a awsome get up, whole thing with line and clatter rap weighs less then a pound, effortless casting, and very sensitive. wish i had more time to actually fish and not just test casting. the revo is by far abu's best low pro reel ever, i been using abu reels since i started really fishing (graduated from zebcos to the good stuff) and i have finally found one that i will be buying more of, it would break me to replace all my other reels with revos, but i would do it if i could. if you havent picked up a carrot stix yet, do it, very light, very strong, very orange, very sensitve, and they have a lifetime warrenty. all and all, a pretty good bargin compared to st. croix and loomis and there just as good, well after 10 minutes im that impressed anyway. bacon time to go to work
