I hit the park I usually talk about again Wednesday evening. Somebody who I ran into told me where he was catching bass and crappie. I checked that area out and saw 2 bass swimming around. I decided to twitch a F9 GFR on the surface. Within a few casts I got a nice explosion. Got a double! Both bass hit it at the same time. Got one on the tail and the other on the front. Stayed around there and caught another one on the F9. This one was a nice chubby 13"er in the 1 to 1 1/2 pound range. Wasn't having anymore luck so I moved on along another pond over by where I lost the bucketmouth. Tried throwing the F9 and SSR7 SH and caught a small 9" largemouth with the SSR7. Headed over to a small, weedy, marshy pond where the same guy told me he caught a few bass and pickerel. I was twitching a F9 GFR on the surface around that pond and caught 2 small 10" and 12" pickerel. I had a few explosions and lost 1 right at the shore when it shot up to grab the lure. By the time it was almost sunset I got going.
