Well I got to fish my first tournament in almost 2 years. ;D We had a very nice pre-fishing on Friday. We had 17 keepers and 30-35 short fish. We were using bottom bouncers and spinners on the rock piles and trolling sr-5, te-7, and hj-6 on the transition between the rocks and mud. On tourny day we struggled a little with a major weather change. We went from total over cast and a 15 mph wind to full sun and NO wind. Are fish that were on the rocks were GONE. We did end up getting our tournament limit on trolling rapalas at 2.8 to 3.6 mph. We got are last fish trolling to the boat ramp and when the net hit the bottom of the boat the gps time had 10 seconds to go. We ended up 6th in the event but were very disappointed as we had a better program going then the results we ended with. We did not have any big fish just solid 16-19". I had a bunch of pics but my memory card took a shit on me. Sorry. All in all I am glad to have gotten out and fish another event.
