I hit that park once again that has all of those ponds. Fished it for about 2 hours from 6:30pm til 8:30pm. I decided to try some topwater for a change so I played around with a SP7 S. I did also give a SSR7 SH a few tries. At one spot I caught a small 9" pickerel with the SP7. In that same area I saw a fish go shooting out towards the SP but never hit it. After hitting some other ponds and areas with no luck I made 1 more stop before hitting the road. Caught a 12" largemouth around 1 pound with the SP7 there right around some lillies.

You need to start bringing a camera Gotta love park ponds though, there was one two blocks from my house when I was growing up as a kid, which started me on my love for fishing. Still remember my first rod too, a Zebco spincast job. Back in the 70s everything was polluted, and people couldnt beleive there were fish in there, but there sure was. Remember fishing for carp with a can of corn like it was yesterday...
