Stupid !@&$#!*&!@! Fish!

Well it turns out the lake I wanted to go to today...the main road to get there was CLOSED.

And the only way around it was to take a 45 minute detour around it.

So I ended up heading back in my direction towards a lake I hadn't fished in a long time, but have had minimal success on.

Today was no different - coupled with bluebird skies and super clear water...its just a tough lake to fish.

There are tons of pads & milfoil everywhere, but there isnt a goddamn bass in them.

I got some cool shots of the lake I'll post later on...stupid fish...

It sure looks like bass water or pickeral. I went fishing the day after the pickeral fest and fished about 6 hrs and caught 1 huge smbass but lost it at boatside. Some days are diamonds and somedays are stone!!!

I said I got skunked in another post.
Even the people who fish it reguarly say its one of the toughest lakes to fish.

Im not shy in admitting I didn't catch anything, it happens to everyone.
