I am officially in a slump. Last 3 lakes I visited, 2 fish. But Shane did ask if I could post these pictures of the lake for him. This one was around 4:45am... I really do like this one though... Talk about blinding..between that and the mist on the water I couldnt even see... More sloppy goodness...there were so many weeds on my anchor I could barely pull the damn thing up... This lake I hadnt fished in over 5 years, and it was my first time back. See those white things floating in the water? Well apparently you are not allowed to fish ANYWHERE past those barrels...and Im convinced that's where all the fish were. From what I heard, that side of the lake is protected because of bald eagles nesting in the area... Maybe next I'll I'll be able to post something with fins on it...

Those look like promising fishing spots, but I guess not.

Those look like promising fishing spots, but I guess not. Normally they would be, but a front just passed through the day before, big mess of T-storms all week leading up to it, and finally cleared out late Friday... ...I guess the front going through / barometric pressure changes really messes up the fishing, or so Ive read...

I wouldn't think you would need an anchor...the weeds should hold you in place.
