Saturday a buddy and I hit a golf course. We worked our way to different ponds. I stuck with a SSR7 BB. My buddy played around with a few different lures. First fish of the day was a 1 1/2 pound bass on the SSR7 After catching a few more bass and 2 bluegills on the SSR7 I felt a nice hit and thought I had a bass on. Was a trophy 9 inch pumpkinseed Later we came to an area of a stream and when my buddy casts out there we see tons of fish scatter. Pretty soon we started seeing tons of bass and bluegills. The bass weren't any special size. My budy caught 2 with a SSR5 P and I caught 5 with a SSR7 BB. Our day ended with my buddy catching 2 bass and 1 bluegill and me with 8 bass, 3 bluegills, and 1 pumpkinseed. All of mine were caught on the SSR7 BB and my buddy's 2 bass were on a SSR5 P. We also ran into somebody sunbathing

Nice fish. Do you have to sneak on the course or do they allow fishing?

We don't park in the main parking lot. There's a dirt path to walk on from a road that leads to the 1st hole where there's 3 ponds. I've been fishing this course for many years and know the tricks. The rangers know me so well they don't bother me.
