first of the season

hi chaps, i went down to fish my little river today as i had an hour to spare , not had a chance the last few weeks as work is busy, but i found the first salmon ive seen this year , only disapointed as my head cams not here yet, this fish spent more time in the air than the water, only i must say he did not think rapala's were as nice as i do as he took the spun worm, not big just 5lb but great scrap on light line

thanks casey10, yep a salmon this size straight off the tide will taste great, even more so when its your own catch

thanks, yes i had a steak today great eating, this is my retreat from work and hassle about 4 miles from town, great fishing in the fall, we have about 10 miles of river
and run are own hatchery
