Did my first evening into night fishing using planer boards for walleye, and I must say I like them......A LOT. Only managed 2 walleyes and a gill for dinner, but the bass were on fire. Best bass was a really nice 17 inch smallie. All in all, about 9 bass were boated. I can tell you right now that I will be having some boards very soon in my boat. Gotta thank my two new friends (Mike and Clarence) for showing me the ropes on these boards for walleye. I can see this making a 2-3 person boat much more effective at boating eyes. Can't wait to try them out on bass lake with my tandem jig rigs....should hammer those eyes. Time to dust off the wallet and head to Cabelas The fish were hitting jointed wally divers running behind the boards.

Well look who's back. I almost got the impression you weren't coming back...especially since you never replied to any of my emails or PMs. You'll be allowed back here if you ever decide to reply to any of my PMs. Not replying to any of them and simply ignoring is an even bigger sign of disrespect to me, IMO. Email me anytime @ fishooked@gmail.com, until then, consider yourself banned.

The whole key to running planer boards is getting the best boards. The off-shore brand is the best in-line board you can buy. It doesn't get blown over by the wind. Hope this helps on what you are looking to buy.
