A buddy of mine and I headed out for about 6 hours Wednesday morning and afternoon in his boat. We started of by trolling while marking fish ranging from 12 to 30 FOW. I was trolling with a DRFR5 SD and lost a smallmouth on the jump. My buddy caught a smallie on a crankbait. I also tried trolling with a SR7 SD but had no luck. Later I tried jigging with a 4" tube but no bass hit it. We started trolling again but both of us had no luck. Our next stop was a cove. I stuck with a SSR5 SD and caught 2 bluegills and 2 largemouths. My buddy was throwing a wacky style worm and a 3" grub and caught 1 largemouth, 2 bluegills, and 1 rock bass.. I also tried throwing a soft plastic helgramite but had no luck. Our last move was trolling again. My buddy was goin to town while trolling with a Bomber. I tried trolling with a DRFR5 SD, SR7 SD, SR9 P, JSR5 P, JSR7 SD, and GSR7 GGH all with no luck. My buddy picked up 3 jumbo perch and 2 smallies with 1 around 2.5 pounds.
