Probably mostly hype as Trap said but I need a couple for early season walleye so I will head out tonight and pay the retail price for a few just in case.

This really does seem to be a crock of shit as I am seeing more than enough of them in retail places in my area.
Even the ones on ebay aren't doing real well either. I actually went out and bought a set of 4 size 4's and was going to list them, along with this picture in my auction listing.
Maybe if I used the words 'shortage' in my listing title it would create some frenzied bidding. I may just try it for the hell of it....
