Has anyone else noticed that they never seem to update their site with anything?
I mean, they've got all these new models and new colors coming out this year, and not even a hint about it on their site.
I had to find out they had new Glass Shad Raps when I opened my Cabela's catalog!
And they still haven't even added their reels to the product section yet! Sheesh!

I have noticed the same thing. Although I am dedicated to the brand, I find that Rapala-Normark does a good job of insulating themselves from consumers/users. Has any tried to get in touch with them? It is almost impossible! you will never find a e-mail address. There does seem to be a lot of items not included on the web site from lures to tools even combos (rods & reels). I recently picked up a Rapala soft tackle box, just happened upon it at the local Walmart. I wish they would get there act together.

I think I am going to email someone over at Rapala-Finland and see if they can give me an email address for someone over at Rapala-USA.
I did receive an email from someone some time ago from their MN headquarters but I can't find it now.

I wish you luck. I had an address for the U.S. Head office but they never answered my e-mail. maybe it's a cover for a bunch of retired CIA guys in hiding..........lol
I also spoke with a pair of reps at the Spring fishing show last month up here in Canada. One of them gave me his buisness card and told me to call him about Rapala Decals for my boat. The following monday I called only to be told, by the operator, that number was not in service!
Makes me wonder............................................................
But I love the products so I'll endure.

hey, its not that they dont update the website, youll notice that they now offer personally made Promo lures right off the website, thats new as of about febuary i think, but thats it, why!, no clue. if you want the address to rapala here it is,

as for going to rapala finland and asking, i know a person(unsure of sex) who i have emailed often enough, and they are nearly completely divorced from rapala usa. yes they offer lots of new stuff, but if you want to find out about it, you got to look at sites like this, thats ok, id rather do that any way. LATEST UPDATE! There is a section in the Rapala Club newsletter that states the entire www.rapala.com website is getting overhauled, and will be available mid-April! |

cool, cant wait, will be looking everyday. also i just remembered that some where i have the address to rapala finland, ill look that up and put it on here, and also, how do i post a pic on here, i have some stuff i would like to put on. plus is it ok for me to add a link to this site on some of my auctions. trap

Jusr post your auction links in the Buy Sell Trade or Ebay section. I may combine those 2 forums once I get a little more meat on these bones of a message board. To post an image, you have to use the little toolbar that shows up when you post a message. If you put your mouse over the 4th from the left, it says 'insert image' Once you do that you'll see this: ![]() Just enter your URL for your image where it says 'URL'  I have the web address on my website, but here it is again, www.rapala.fi |

"We sell a few things, like the DVD and some clothing, but it's not based on e-commerce. Shane, You won't see it if you've got a Pop-Up blocker installed. I disabled mine and went to the site, and a pop-up comes up that you click on to subscribe. But here's the link: news.rapala.com/ |

Their web site is really the worst part about Rapala. They should try harder today more than ever to capitalize on this internet thing. I think its going to catch on with everyone  |

Wow! If you guys haven't checked out some of the new stuff this year, then head over to Rapala.com!  The site looks the same, but at least they updated it with some new lures! Im going to post some pics soon! |
