wonder who bottled it for them, looks like a linnies to me, either way, i agree with wolfgang, beer is for drinking, but i would still put it on the shelf, it would go way to nice with the rapala glasses to not show it off. BUT... did you see that date on it, that danm thing is 2 years old, talk about skunky beer. jeff

hi guys.
i think it is time now that some real expert on beer is going to speak up here. although it seems Jeff B thinks i have already. did you mix up something, bacon?
i am from bavaria, south-east of germany, this is where oktoberfest is and where the best beer in the world is made. not in rapala bottles, unfortunately. so this alone does make me an expert. you can not imagine how many really drunk people i see here every year in munich during oktoberfest and even more during starkbierzeit (this is the real killer beer).
i do not like beer, i just like whisky. so i had the opportunity several times to buy a bottle or two and leave them unopened (beer NOT whisky!!!) for more than a year.
with really good beer (from bavaria) nothing will happen and you can still drink it. of course it has to be stored carefully, just like the rapalas, cool in the dark, and dont look at them too often.
in case of more questions i am around here. trade expertise for blue rapala ... LOL
prost! wolfgang

wow, this is going back a ways, but i think i have some of these headed my way. it took long enough, found out there was at least 4 different kinds of bottle lables, no word on if they were all diffenent flavors of beer. looking at some of the guys who used to be regulars around here, wonder what happened to them all. sad really. hard to get too sad, knowing that i might finally get these in the collection. bacon

its made by schells brewery, same place as the new lakemaids beer, rapala now owns at least part of them, there wasnt many bottles made i would guess, was made for there annual meeting, in 2005 i think is what the bottles say. bacon
