I really wish this weekend would fall on Labor Day Weekend like the old days, always nice to have that day off after drinking all day watching football! My Jets are looking good so far today, my wife invited her parents over today, but I refuse to start grilling until the game is over

You have to admit that it would be a pretty unbreakable record if they did it though!!

I don't think they will go winless again, although the Lions do get a pretty brutal schedule this year. Maybe they'll win 3 games, but it wont be easy.

As usual, the Patriots get another lucky break... I predict Dick Jauron gets fired before the season is out...

As usual, the Patriots get another lucky break... Don't even get me started on the Patriots. I like the Patriots about as much as I like the Yankees!! If the Patriots are in the Super Bowl, I wont even watch!! After you posted that they got lucky and won, I went on espn and had to find out what happened. What a joke!!

And we face those scumbags next week! The NFL really blows when they create the schedule sometimes... this is the THIRD year in a row they open at home vs the Pats! I'm not even going to the home opener this year because Im sick of all the bandwagon Pats fans that invade the stadium. You couldnt even find a Pats fan at Jets games before Parcells coached the Pats...and now they're everywhere...bunch of frauds! I'll go to a few games this year, but no more Pats games

On another topic, who here gets NFL Network?
I'm tellin' ya, 'NFL Replay' is the best thing ever - get to catch the best 4 games of the weekend, compressed down to 90 mins each, no commercials and no fluff.

i have to admit, i was kinda hoping to see the lions go 0-16 last year, but i really would like to see them win some games this year, at least 4, say 2 vs the Viqueens, and 2 vs da bears. bacon
