It's official, we're having a garage sale tomorrow and there's brand new Rapalas in there. Ones I've never used and have been dragging around for years...I know if I stay strong, and don't go outside too often, I can do this and not bring any back into the house. I even put my Rapala 'strongbox' up for sale...*whew* it's tough, but I can do it. I think, I hope...

We need items in our 'store!' - Im being totally serious by the way. And you know you wont get your money back at a garage sale - how many are we talking about? Are they still in boxes or no? If not, Im sure Steve can paint them up

Actually Ted, I'm hoping a kid buys them. I know, sounds weird...but it's a chance for a kid to get into Raps for damned near next to free. As I put them out on the table last night, it's a scene I would've died for when I was ten. Countdowns for a buck, spoons for 50 cents...that sort of thing. Fishing has been one of the truly great loves in my life and I embrace any chance I can to encourage that in the younger lot. I even put a reconditioned 7 foot Berkley pike rod in the sale in perfect working order with brand new line for a mere 20 bucks. Let's see if anyone 'bites'...

I gotcha, no problem - and as a kid, I can totally relate. Just make sure you or your wife doesn't sell them to some guy like me

everytime my mom has a garage sale, about once a year, i will take a box of lures over and have them for sale. usually a box of raps for $3 each, and misc lures for $2.50. last year i sold out, it was only like 35-40 lures, but still, this year i dropped of the boxes with raps $4, and misc $3(or 4 for $10), she sold 4 lures for me, that was it. but she said the traffic was way down, and no wives were dragging there husbands around this year, thats how ya get em, a husband that spots a box o baits is always eager to buy. Its like there trying to 'revenge-buy', as in, "my wife has been spending my money all damn day on junk, now im going to get some lures just to even the score a little". either way, im i have a few boxes still sitting at my moms i need to pick up, but as for you ted, yeah, i might be able to come up with some things for the store. ill do some digging and get in touch.
