Thursday I went to check out one of those parks I like to hit. Was fishing a few of the ponds for about 2 hours. Lures I stuck with were a white tiger Rooster Tail, F7 S, SSR7 SH, and SSR5 SD. On the F7 a retrieve I stuck with was lightly twitching it on the surface. At one pond with the F7 I caught a small 6" redbreast. Next pond I hit I had a small pickerel come shooting out from the weeds but never hit it. Tried and tried but the pickerel wouldn't grab it. Tried playing with the SSR5 and SSR7 at the last pond along a stone wall and water no deeper than 4 feet but had no luck. At the first pond and last pond I was hoping for pickerel to grab the Rooster Tail but had no luck. Last spot I hit at the last pond I was twitching the F7 on the surface when I see a nice swirl and then got a nice hit on the surface. Caught a nice bass around 2 1/2 pounds
After that I gave the F7 another 10 or so casts which resulted in 1 swirl and 1 nice hit.
