Hit a harbor where snapper bluefish have been hanging around for a while. Had a good time catching up to about 15 mostly with small curly tail grubs and a few on an F7 S. Tough thing that had to happen was while I was giving it a retrieve where I jerk it hard and then let it come back up to the surface, I saw a medium sized fish come out of the water like a dolphin and grab the F7 while I was letting it sit on the surface. Felt no weight so I decided to reel it in and lost the F7. Right away knew it was a bluefish that grabbed it. Did try throwing an F18 S out there to see what might happen but nothing. Hit the road.
Here's another name guys call me. Besides me being called Bluefish Buster because I love to bust those blues, I'm also called Snapper Smasher because I say I love to smash those snappers and smashing those snappers is better than striking those stripers.
