Was out in the new boat today and we caught 12 bass. Only one was photogenic if you know what I mean  He was 16" and caught on a black and silver J11. I wanted the pic with the lure in his mouth, but it was too tangled in the net  It was a beautiful day on the lake!  |

Yes, A guy has got to get in some fishing on good days as the season is getting short. There are usually a few good fall fishing days when you dont need gloves and touques!!!

I agree, the wife doesn't understand it so much, but when the winter rolls in I'll be miserable, so there won't be as much to do. I wasn't feeling 'up' for work on Tuesday (does anyone?) and I saw the forecast was for low 70s, mostly cloudy, and no chance of rain. I figured conditions would be perfect, but I only ended up with a couple of bass, and I could not figure out the pattern that day for anything...  |

I know the feeling! Went to the same lake yesterday and fished for 6 hrs, not even a bite!!I guess it was a nice day for a boat ride.

 Went bassin again yesterday. My buddy caught all the big ones, 18.5, 17.5, 2 x 17, and a 15". I managed to hook 2 x 14" on a J11, a 21.5" pickeral on a skitter prop and a 15" striper on the J11 also. All fish were safely released. What a great day on the lake. Check the trees and water ;D |
