I'm seriously considering changing the rules for this AGAIN.  Here's is what I'm thinking - If you did not make a post in the current calendar year you are hereby ineligible. Now chances are if you are reading this, it doesn't apply, since you are more than likely and active and contributing member. More than likely I am going to implement this. I'd rather be sending out lures to people that will be thankful & grateful for them. I am not looking for anyone to kiss my ass or anything, just some simple appreciation or note of thanks is enough.  |

well its your show ted, and it should be the more you join in , the more you get out of it, and i dont just mean to get rapala's, its good to talk and share views with fellow anglers, you got my vote what ever you do, do what feels right  |

Thanks for the input guys...from a new member, and also from one of the 'old' guys. Well, I think I've sent out enough broadcast emails to let everyone know what's going on, and I haven't exactly witnessed a resurgence of all those old registered profiles now becoming 'active' again...free lures or not. In all fairness to everyone, some people may have just registered either to sell some lures, get some one-time info on something, or just simply aren't 'posting' people, just lurkers. Which is fine - God knows I've done it on plenty of other messageboards myself. I'm just trying make this place a little different, a little more special than the rest of the boards out there. I think its come a long way in a few months, here's to hoping it gets better. Guess they'll be missing out. Thanks for the props guys, I needed that. |

Well, Im not sure when I'll announce the July winner...it seems like my lures are 'cursed' or something - everyone I send lures to is never to be seen or heard from again. I don't know what that's all about.  Anyway, hopefully the next winner will be excited to have them.  |

All I'll say is that if you have at least 10 posts and are active in the given calendar year...depends on how many members fit that criteria at the time of the drawing, so it will constantly be changing...we just started this 3 months ago.  |
