Any reply from ospreynn yet??? Couldn't imagine ever having trouble giving away free Rapalas!!!! If I ever go a week without checking in send my notification e-mail to the local jails and hospitals!!!! No he replied, so he was lucky enough to get his lures already - and he got this sweet DT-4 (below) in Sun Perch from Xtreme Lure Creations...  |

Wow! I'm impressed w/this web site! Very COOL. And the FREE Rapala's....can't beat that w/a cheap old fishin' rod!!! I've caught more bass on my Original Floater than anything else I've used. Even my girlfreind caught a bass on one. They're so good that inexperienced fisher'ladys' (!!??) can catch nice fish w/them! I've spent hundreds of dollars on Rapala lures....and am seriously thinking about collecting them as a hobby. This is just the site to get those unusual & rare lures I've been wondering about. The oldest Rapala I own is probably 30 years old! (and last fall still caught a nice 2 1/2 lb...er!) You can be sure I'll be visiting this site everyday. Nice job & THANX!!!

wcwudz, This is a great place to be if you want to start collecting rapalas. I started the same way. Check out the image gallery section and you can see tons of hard to find, special, and rare lures that you will probably never see anywhere else!

Hey Ted,
New to the site. Just been cruisin the posts for a while. Wanted to say thanks for everything. I don't think enough people really appreciate how much work you put into the forum. It's really amazing that you can work full time and still manage to do as much on the site as you have.

It's nothing majority scientific, just whenever I have time. Usually I try to send out a global email to all with the winner. That reminds me I need to start working on May sponsor info! |

That reminds me Ted, I know you sent out my lure from the dt thug contest a couple days ago. Just curious how long shipping usually takes within the US. It's only been a couple of days and I'm already getting all antsy (don't know if that is how you spell that).

Second, this sponsor thing - I would suppose that the 'sponsors' would really like to see some business coming their way from RapalaNation members. Ted, perhaps you could arrange a special code for us lot to use when we make a purchase from them, or maybe they could have a special deal every so often for us members. Either way there must be a way to increase traffic to them from here and potential sales. I'm sure that all of this is not new to Ted but how many of us understand that a sponsor wants to see some return on his sponsorship? Sponsorship is not charity done solely from the goodness of their hearts - they have a business to run and at the end of the month they need to see a profit to be able to continue their business etc. etc. If we don't start clicking on their links and even buying something from them they might take their sponsorship some place else where folks will make a purchase every so often. Just some thoughts..... Disclaimer: Overseas members are at a distinct disadvantage as most online stores charge a fortune to ship anything overseas and so it just isn't worth ordering from them  |
