Ok, so we all know that we all know our Rapala lures -
but how well do you know the other lures on the market? Are we that blinded by all things Rapala that we don't know what another lure even looks like?
Well, here you're chance to prove yourself if you are worthy of the "TackleMaster General" title!
Shortly, I will be posting an image containing 50 - yes FIFTY different lures, and the maximum total score is 100.
You get one point for correctly guessing the manufacturer, and another point for guessing the lure model.
Note: Lures made by Bass Pro, Cabelas, or any other knock-off is NOT INCLUDED. Also not included are lures that use 'numbers' to designate their model name (i.e. Norman D22) - that is just a pain in the butt. So those are out.
There can be multiple lure models by the same lure maker.
One hint - there is one ONE Rapala in the mix.
You must either email me your entries to fishooked@gmail.com, and INCLUDE YOUR BOARD NAME, or send it to me via a PM.
One entry per person, and open to all registered members of the site. Please do not email me or PM me multiple entries; if you do I will only use the last one sent.
DO NOT post answers or hints in this thread or anywhere else, or you will be disqualified.
This contest is going to run from September 1st until September 30; I may post the pictures sooner however.
I think that covers the formalities - here is what is at stake:

If you're not sure, just wager a guess, you might just get the lure mfg right... Good luck all! And to our European friends - if there is an absence of European lures than I apologise, I just don't know many of the bigger European lures out there, so I don't know if a lure maker would bee too obscure or not. But there are a few in there... |

ahh, i know many off the top of my head, but there are a few i am going to have to go downstairs and dig in my magic box of crap and cross referance with, however, i have to blow up those pictures and take a better look, i didnt see any raps on first pass. i might have to come up with a good way to cheat somehow, cause i have had my eye on a hat cam for some time now.

There's no way to cheat, at least that I know of. I specifically changed the image urls, then combined them into one large image. So that won't work, you'll need to be more resourceful. |

Sounds good! And if those one proves to be too easy, then we can always do another one! If we have too many people 'tied' after all the tabulating has been done, then I might have to throw some additional ones in for tie-breaker purposes... |

This is sounding like one of those poker games. I'm pretty good at internet searching but am still stuck on quite a few of the lures. Is there an unfair advantage for professionals or are they just holding their cards close to their chests and bluffing   Oh well there are still a good number of days left - don't give up you other guys - maybe they are bluffing after all Blessings, Nigel |
