Even though we got skunked my son had a great time and has been bugging me to go again ;D He was fishing a F-7 SFC. The funny thing about this trip was he seen this tv commercial with the rally cap,and wanted to turn his Rapala hat inside out to see if the fish would bite.

Taking your kids fishing can provide great memories. At xmas dinner this year we got talking about some of the experiences my kids and I had when they were 10-12 yrs old, fishing out of my small, homemade wooden boat. My daughter and son and I had tears running down our faces at some of the stories. My wife coudnt believe some of the happenings!!!

THANKS GUY"S I strongly encourage everyone to take your kids fishing if you don't have kids take someone else's. Even though they get snags, tangles, even bury the hooks in you the pleasure of seeing the excitement they have is worth more then all the money in the world(to me anyway)

My son's first Bass on a Rapala ;D Caught it on a HJ-6 CLN. I don't know who was more excited him or my daughter in the background. He wasn't sure what to do with it so my daughter went and lipped it and told him how to take the lure out. My daughter loves to fish as well ;D

Wish it was there when I was growing up,but nope the ole man waits till we move out to get it dug. I think I created a monster with my son.I told him I was putting his picture with the bass here and now all he wants to do is go fishing with his Rapala's so he can have more pictures taken.

My dad moved to upstate NY and has a pond like that on his property, although I think it was natural, not sure, but it was well established when he moved in. His is about an acre, and he's never fished it, and I dont think the previous owners did either. I haven't been up there yet this year, but its like shooting fish in a barrel. When I do go, I am going to try to see how many different Rapalas I can catch a fish on
