Guys,
Just wanted to "thanks" to all of you guys who keep coming back here almost daily.
It means a lot to me that you think enough of this place to keep coming back, and I promise I'll keep working hard at it to make it an even better place.
There are many times (at least once a week
) where I grow frustrated with myself for not being able to figure out a way to get more active people on here - but then I realized - we are a different breed of fishermen / fanatics.
Not many lure fanatics/collectors out there can boast about the fact that we can fish the lures that we prize.
I don't know of any lure collector sites that have a 'fishing section', lmao
But this site should be about fishing too.
I am even amazed at myself how far I've changed this place from March of this year, after taking a substantial amount of time off.
I am very excited about this year's class of 'recruits' we have here at RapalaNation (zeroroaster, casey10, bluefishbuster, Mr. Neves, fishfingers007, walter, nridley, etc, just to name a few) - if we keep managing to bring in quality posters and individuals such as these, at this rate - well then I think we can all agree that this place is just going to flat out kick ass!
Recently I had made a decision to ban someone who had been here almost since the beginning - I wrestled with that decsion for a very long time - but in the end I could not have someone here who would not treat me (and other members) with the respect I feel they deserve. In the end I don't believe the volume of posts is going to be missed at all - not with the new quality folks we have on board.
Anyway I guess Im not really sure what the point of this post really was, other than to say thanks for supporting me and this site.
Now please go out and buy some RapalaNation t-shirts.
