Well it finally happened, after my 2nd season of muskie fishing I finally got one today. What a blast ;D ;D He was 42 1/2" x19" I trolled a magnum red and white most of the day with no results. I switched to a real cheap jointed perch Pikie and whammo. Here is the result.  |

It did not take long to net the fish. Muskies for their size and ferocious looks are not big fighters. It did not even jump once. I was using an 8' Okuma heavy rod and 80lb test braided line. HE bent the rod pretty good but came almost straight in. No, I dont need a pipe in the corner of my mouth, in fact I wont even be old until next Nov when the government will issue me an official ""senior citizen card"" at 65 yrs  I hope Ted is offering senior discounts with rapcash by then |
