I had a couple hours to kill before my daughters volleyball game so I went down to the marina breakwall here to try for some Muskie. I missed one small Muskie on a SXR-14 DL and had a nice Smallie check it out but wouldn't hit it. So I threw on my standby the SSR-14 GF (Thanks Wolfgang ) and 2 casts later this Pike nailed it There was a strong North wind which really sucked and it had the Lake pretty rough.

Nice little pike, congrats.
I haven't caught a pike since I left Ontario about 30 years ago. They are a lot of fun and can get pretty large.
Here in New Brunswick I love fishing chain pickerel from my float tube. It makes for exciting days on the water.

Nice job Steve! I'll have my share of crappy weather tomorrow! So I'm hoping 'bad weather, good fishing' holds true!

Nice fish Steve At least you got out. I was planning on fishing a walleye tournament today (my favorite one of the year), but my girlfriend had different ideas. I somehow got roped into going to a wedding instead

I'd love to get a Shallow Shad Rap in GF and see how much the bass and pickerel would like it. Nice pike.

Coming up this Sunday I'll be attending an outing with other fishermen where we'll all be targeting pike. I'll be teaming up with one of my good buddies on his boat. One Rapala I'm def bringing is a SSR-9 CW. I'm also planning on bringing a few SSP-12 and an F-18 S and G.
