i have fished my hart out trying to get a salmon but at least some i and others had before are ready to do the job.

Quite an operation.  Interesting to see mother natures' work being done  How many salmon would you expect to get in your hatchery this year? Will they be released into the same river the adults were caught in or does it make a difference?? |

all the salmon must go back to the same river they were taken from, we keep about 20 hens and 6-8 cock fish, return about 70- 100,000 fry back in next summer, all broodstock must be rod caught fish, we would do more, but the powers that be dont allow us  every way we turn is red tape but we do what we can |
