Drove by my home lake the other day and the 5" of rain we had this weekend really broke up the ice some!
Hoping that this week of 60+ degree temps will finally break it up by next weekend! ;D

Hoping that this week of 60+ degree temps will finally break it up by next weekend! ;D Were in the same boat up this way as well  I can't wait to do some ice out trolling for Browns and Walleye. ;D Also want to see how the Husky 13 will work for me this spring  |

Well the ice is gone for now ;D ;D The bad thing is that if the wind changes it will be right back  Will definitely be going trolling for Browns this week  |

Most of my ice is gone - by Sunday it will be - but I signed myself up for yardwork tomorrow...  Of course the weather will be back in the 50s by next weekend - but Im getting this yard mess done now! I hit the dock for awhile & just casted out the new MaxRap & Thugs for a bit....I knew I couldnt reach the spot where the fish are from where I was standing - but it felt good to wet a line though! |

I hit the dock for awhile & just casted out the new MaxRap & Thugs for a bit....I knew I couldnt reach the spot where the fish are from where I was standing - but it felt good to wet a line though! So can you give a guesstimate of how far they can be cast? Have you ever thrown a Skitter Walk? Those things fly with no effort..... |
