i was sitting around and thinking about fishing and the different superstitions that people have .. i myself have an x-scent camo hat that i refuse to go fishing without . [ and hunting ] and i readjust it with each cast  ...my brother has a lucky pair of underware he always has on and a certain gum he always chews [ he wont tell me what brand ] ..what kind of hang ups do you guys have ? .. if any ..  |

I always have to rig my rods up the night before. I always bring 4, no matter what. One for worming, one for spinnerbaits, one for lighter lures, and one for heaver lures. And I always pick our the first lures the night before. And I always invariably end up changing them 5 minutes after I am on the water  |

I thought it was only my wife that changes her mind that many times -- when she has to get dressed to go somewhere special That is about the only time I'll change my mind that many times  |

i forgot another thing, if i'm not fishing with my friends i like to have no one around me or that can see me. the more i am alone while i'm fishing, the better!!!

I know what you mean - if there are others around they always seem to ask questions or need help just at the wrong moment  Anyway, I like to concentrate on my fishing and enjoying the surroundings and the quiet  Maybe fishing spots should have signs like in libraries -- Quiet |

you guys hit the nail on the head ..the peace and quiet is what it's all about ...i was at the lake the other day with about 30 people fishing all around me with radios on in there trucks and a lot of loud talking ..all that typical redneck crap ..when they all left , all i heard were the ducks and geese ..also heard a few gobblers fly up to roost and gobble a few times ...now thats what i like to hear .... |
