hi, i went out this morning armed with a 7cm countdown ,no other anglers out and just my 2nd time out, the river looked good i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss269/fishfingers007/fish/001-4.jpgthen i went on to take a couple small browns, i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss269/fishfingers007/fish/003-6.jpgbut then i hit into a spring salmon ,great fight but no pictures, as i used the hatcam for this one, just to find out after i returned her that the cam had moved ,and not caught the fight, going to have to sort that out, i also came accross a deer so in all a good day.

Mark, That looks a pretty fast flowing river. How do you use the CD? Throw it upstream, across stream or down stream?

Mark, That looks a pretty fast flowing river. How do you use the CD? Throw it upstream, across stream or down stream? well it depends on the flow and where the fish are ,but if possible slight upstream with a fastish retrieve for seatrout slower for salmon, some times a fish will follow in to your feet then i just stop the lure at the rod tip and often they still hit the lure if you remain very still, yesterdays salmon did that , maybe when there's a few more fish in i will head cam for you, oh yah i looked at the hatcam fix on the cap and there is a nut on it , just needed a turn, so anyone with a hatcam ,keep it tight.
