Finally got out Sunday after 3 straight days of grueling work (story for another day) - This was my best fish of the day, on a size 10 Chrome Flat Rap: Only one bass on the day, on a Senko My other pickerel that practically swallowed my OPSD Thug, took me 15 minutes to get the sucker out! Apparently perch like them too! The sunny on the SFR-7 had to be the funniest thing of the day! Next to this sight of course...LOL Oh yeah, almost forgot - lake pics!

Great pics Ted! Are you trolling those thugs? -Ryan Ryan, Yes I have been trolling them, and they troll really, really well. Still think the fish are in deeper water so until they start moving shallow, I'll keep on trolling them. Even though they have a big lip they do not have an obnoxious wobble that will make the rod vibrate out of your hands or anything, and the big lip seems to prevent them from picking up too much crap off the bottom (as opposed to other Rapala lures). They have been working so well I already lost 3 of them this year (none to that tree though)

Thanks for the info. They seem like a good bait to troll. I'm thinking about picking some up to try trolling them this week. I'll let you know how it goes.
...and keep us updated Ted! The pics are a great to see!

Nice pics and nice fish. Those pickeral can really inhale a lure sometimes. My buddy put large muskie lures in the trees at least 5 or 6 times on Sun. Got every one of them back without even moving the boat. Lots of BS luck I think

Great pics Ted I remember catching a few Pickerel here years ago but lately I haven't caught or seen any I remember the distinct coloring on them so I knew that they weren't small pike.
