Recently I hit the same park again where I had fun with the pickerel. This time I wanted to see if there were any crappie hitting. Stuck with a F-7 S and was twitching it lightly on the surface mostly. Caught a total of 7 crappie at 1 pond with many hits on the surface. Also caught a small pickerel in a cove in the pond I was fishing. Later while I was twitching the F-7 on the surface I started getting some nice swirls. Kept the lure going and then fish on! Landed a nice 17" 2 pound pickerel. Also lost a bass.
