;D ;D
Caught my first bass on a skitter prop yesterday. I had just bought it earlier that day. I also noticed that the prop on it was different then the one on my old spr. The newer version has a small bend on the end of the blades, which I think may help increase the water dispersement as you pull it along the surface. All I know is I had the old one for years, never catching anything with it, and had a nice bass 2hrs after buying the new one.
Also tried flat rap for first time and was very happy with it. No catches with it, but did have a few bites. It casts quite a ways and looks nice on the retrieve.

Congrats. I haven't really had much luck on skitter props either. I have a few options that work much better, but that may just be the areas that I fish.

alot of people say skitterprops aren't very good, i was watching the rapala ad for em on youtube, there's loads of comments by people saying they have fished em for months and not had any takes. Skitter POPs on the other hand, i am told are very effective, so i shall have to go buy 1 tight lines Tom
