Fished the monthly Fish Tale's Tournament today on Lake Lochloosa. Started out throwing Devilhorse and caught 4 dink's early. Then after the sun got up (felt like the broiler in your oven!) we went to flipping. Caught a 2-1/2 to fill our limit about 10am. We came to some lilly pad island's a little farther out in the deeper water and flipped the edge of it to catch our big fish, a 7-7lb chunk. It was enough to get us 2nd place and big bass. Had 22 boat's (lot's of big dog's there too)! Got to try out the new jersey too, might be my lucky charm....lol
I wish you guy's could have seen this bald eagle too. I swear this joker looked like it had a wingspan of about 6ft! We saw it swoop down and grab a huge speck about 100 yard's from the boat.
