Hit a golf course with a buddy hoping to find post spawn bass that have become active. Found many bass but most didn't want to hit. Bluegills were the only ones going after a F-9 V on the surface so I decided to see if the bass were in the mood for a Husky Jerk. Back in April I won a custom painted HJ-6 in a color called Purple Nurple painted by Hawkeyefishin. That was the trick. I caught a total of 6 largemouths and 2 bluegills while my buddy wasn't having much luck except for 2 largemouths and 1 bluegill on a CD-5 OGMD.
