Well, it was raining too hard to be just a steady rain but not hard enough to be considered a flat out downpour. Anyway, I ended up braving the elements and tried fishing for some bluegills. I ended up catching a perch that was too small to fillet. I was planning on releasing it, but the dang thing swallowed my hook and ended up dying. I decided to throw that perch on a big hook and cast it out as far as I could thinking I would probably be able to catch a dogfish or two. Well, I ended up catching this....my Personal Best by far on this body of water. I will say one thing about catfish, dogfish, and sheephead......they all put up a heck of a fight!!

Nice cat. Got a belly on him. What did he run, about 10 lbs? And where are you from?

I figured he ran around 10 lbs. I live in West Michigan. I just got back from Lake Erie and we caught a bunch of Walleye Our best 5 fish weighed in at just over 32 lbs on Thursday, around 27 lbs on Friday, and 27 lbs on Saturday. It was a pretty good 3 days.
