I'm sure you will recognize at least one of the names in the title The kibbutz took us on a trip to Jaffo and then to eat in a restaurant by the name of "The Old Man and the Sea". Whilst there I took some photos of a good looking fishing spot: Panoramic View of the Beach - South Yaffo Here's a link to a bigger version: Bigger versionAnd here's a single shot of the rocks: Rocks at the Beach I will go there one day soon hopefully Here's a 'nice' picture-postcard photo: A View of Tel-Aviv from Yaffo

At least we picked a activity that provides gorgeous views. i would like to fish from there myself one day. I'm still trying to figure out the sea fishing in Israel. I mean it's not at all like when I was fishing in the UK. There you could go any time of the day or night and expect to catch something. Here the fish seem to disappear after the sun gets up. I'm sure it's because of the exceptionally clear water - the fish feel safer in deeper water during the day and there is no real deep water close to the shore. The only fish that you can expect to catch during the day is the smaller species that hang around the rocks or the occasional gray mullet. I'm still trying though and learning lots along the way.
