New Crankin' Rap = 2 Thumbs Up!

Used it for the first time yesterday and did really well! Here's some pics:
























As usual, the pickerel nail the Flat Rap and the bass seem to stay away from it....




Also my first fish on a SFR in a loooong time...only because I hadnt had any to fish with...

Does the Crankin' Rap cast well?
I tried a comparison with a Thug and a similar sized Rattlin' Fat Rap and the Rattlin' Fat Rap cast about a third farther than the Thug.

What kind of fishing line is that, that looks all curled and twisted?

Yes, the Crankin Rap casts very well - then again most lures will cast better than the Thug - I think it is the shape of the lip that catches air and slows it down. I can't speak for the CRR08, 10, or 14 yet though.

The size 5 is perfect for my lake, not too deep with a big profile.

Yeah, that is my Sufix line all twisted up like that. I abuse the crap out of my line and continue to keep on casting it and casting it until it snarls up because I hate changing line..
