I went fishing last week in a reservoir about 10 miles away from my place. Had a good time for the first 4 hours before I decided to go the shallower water for the last 20 minutes. I guess you can guess what happened next.....yes I had a snag. I snagged my brand new Flat Rap clown that I just bought the night before. I did the snapping technique that usually work but fruitless and that basically ruined my good day of fishing. So pulled my snagged line and broke it.
I continued fishing with a plastic worm and made several casts before again I had a snag, but this time was easier to get it out. As I was reeling my line in I felt a bite and set the hook. There was nothing! so I continue retrieving my line when I suddenly saw another line tangled with mine and a green thing dragging behind it. It was my flat rap clown! boy, I couldn't be happier that time. I accidently unsnagged my flat rap. I guess the "bite" was my flat rap hitting at my plastic worm. I had the same experience with someone else's lure but not with my own.
