Lost more than I caught yesterday

I am beginning to wonder if the rod I was using which has M to ML action caused me to loose all these fish yesterday...

Seems like this rod just doesnt have the muscle to force these fish down when they go airborne...I must have lost over 6 fish yesterday - one bass which had to be between 4-5lbs that almost made me cry


But I did get a couple - first here is the obligatory 'look how early I woke up' shot LOL







I have yet to have a day where I catch more than 1 yellow perch in a single outing...





And the only lure that worked the most consistently was the SFR-7 in Silver...I lost a beast on this lure earlier that morning...




And the fish of the day that made it all worth it...even though the bastard stuck me with one of the trebles trying to land him...

nice fish!!! On one of those pictures i can see your rapalas, you got a fair old bunch there lol.
I wish i could afford to buy as many, but once my lure building gets underway, i should be able to bring in some cash to spend on rapalas!!!
