Found a good tip on the rapala how to videos. I tried out one of the tips today, which started getting me bites straight away, some of you may know about it, some of you may not, so here goes. When using an original, use a knot that tightens in on the front ring, rather than a loop knot such as a rapala knot; i use a 5 turn grinner knot. Pull the knot so it is secured near the bottom of the ring at the front of the lure. The line should not face directly down, but should come off the lure roughly parallel with the diving lip. This gives the lure slightly more belly flash, and makes the tail wobble a lot more too. The lure can also be worked at much slower speeds with the knot tied this way. I understand that my description is hard to understand, but i did my best. If you're still unsure, then this is the link to the video: The tip is around 2:30 Hope this helps
