Went fishing this evening after work - had a great time but didn't catch anything Got a bunch of great photos though - sunset over the sea etc. The water was 29C and nice and warm. Took my ultra-light tackle and tried for some more Sea bream with a CD1 then switched to an XR8. This makes me so happy that I don't live in the UK anymore

The larger waves in the background were quite a way off and only a few splashed me in the chest and up and over my head Most of the time the water level was just below my waist. Sometime though the underwater drag was very strong and I knew where the limits were! I shall keep trying and maybe one day I shall catch a decent sized fish ;D

Impressive, nothing beats a dedicated, motivated and addicted fisherman.

I'll be doing some of that myself this week!
I know nothing about fishing the sea so it's going be interesting - although I loaded up on metal spoons and jigs, and grabbed the largest Rapalas I had for the cause, or anything that I knew I could get some serious casting distance with!
Its time for those Max Raps to start earning their keep!
