i recently had some little troubles with a knee, but i also got a couple of new rods and 3 new reels to test. so, i took my bike and 2 rods and reels (i'll test the last another time) and decided to go fishing. i'm having troubles with my grammar too, so please let me know about my writing errors.
first i tried with a baitcasting combo. this is my first one, so i don't know how to cast, i still have a lot to learn. i had many backlashes, and during one of these i got a direct hit. the rod had no problems, i gave out line by hand, and after a couple of minutes, when i got my reel running i could retrieve this, it's 74 cm (something less than 2 1/2 ft)
another photo for this cat - i still have a lot to learn, especially about baitcasting reels!!!
ok, i switched to a spinning reel tackle, and changed place. after 3 casts, i got this chub
later, i got this (36 cm, 1 ft 2 in)
and a little surprise, a rudd (about 20 cm)
i had a huge hit now but it didn't got hooked.
went back to cats zone. i didn't see nothing. my phone rang, i received the call... and while i was on the phone, all the fishes were jumping, after i closed the call they disappeared!!!
after many casts i got a direct hit. the fish started jumping and running all over, so i thought this was a pike or maybe a huge bass... well, i was wrong. it was really strong, but a cat
after i unhooked it, it started "walking" along the banks!!! i had to stop him and take it back for the photo. it was 74 cm, so i thought it was the same fish (no, it was not, i checked the photos later)
after, i lost a huge fish that didn't got hooked and then took my bike and went home. a total of 30 km by bike, but it was worth it.
