A couple of my own observations on all this: -The Glass Fat Rap is no longer in the 2011 catalog -Maybe my incessant complaining is paying off - Gold on the Flat Rap? ;D -Surprised to finally see a new color on the Glass Shad Rap -Looks like some of those 'rare' colors on the Mini Fat Rap aren't really rare anymore (BTR TR RT etc) -Good to see some new colors on the DT series - they are really sharp looking craw colors -I love the MaxRap in the size MXR11 -The Clackin Minnow and Clackin Cranks are so much better looking in person, and I think the Clackin Cranks are going to be a huge bass lure -The new CNR09 is BIG - like, run all the line off your spool kinda big!

Well I'm taken aback - blow me down with a feather More MaxRaps ;D in decent sizes for sea fishing -- MXR15, MXR17 -- wow, they should cast like a ballistic missile! How heavy are they Ted? If you need any help testing the Clackin Minnow in saltwater - I could help you out Ted, it looks like you got one foot in the [Rapala] door -- I hope that soon you'll have both feet under the table

Hi Ted, have you managed to get over the 'Christmas morning' syndrome yet? How about some tech info on the new_for_2011 lures. Like how much do the Clackin Minnows weigh? I understand that they are 'slow sinker' - I wonder if they will suspend in saltwater??

I cannot wait to try out those clackin minnows. Any idea about prices? I would guess they would be in the normal rapala range, but ya never know with the new stuff sometimes.

Any idea when these are due to hit the shelves? Before Christmas possibly? The bass fisherman in me is itching to get my hands on some Clackin Cranks. Oh well, they'll probably be released in the winter, so they'll possibly be my first casts next spring.

I honestly don't know, and I have never really gotten my hands on one until now. These are pretty big, since it also covers all of their Storm, Williamson, Terminator, etc products as well. I dont think these are generally sent out to the consumer directly...

yeah quiet cool colours. But nearly all "new" plastic lures. I miss the balsa wood lures like the SSR-14, CD and MAG for example. Seems to me that they will not expand the colour range of the "good old" models. Very sad.

I agree with Carsten. I know there are a ton but maybe some new Shad Rap colors?? Nope, nothing new for Shad Raps or SSRs - only the JSR and GSR got Yellow Perch - if there isnt a picture posted, then it remains the same as last year. On the plus side though, it was nice to FINALLY see 'GOLD' again - granted its only on the Flat Raps - but maybe we'll see it on other lures like the Minnow Rap, Thug, etc etc

Wow. I really like the new craw colors, and the hot mustard muddler. Just hope I don't fall in love with any of the new lures too much!! I'm still trying to catch up on the '09 stuff. So many rapalas, so little money!!!
