Can't wait for the flatraps. We need them in trout colours. OGM for Xrap is great too.

yeah quiet cool colours. But nearly all "new" plastic lures. I miss the balsa wood lures like the SSR-14, CD and MAG for example. Seems to me that they will not expand the colour range of the "good old" models. Very sad. i agree. ok, plastic is cheaper (for them, not for us...), but balsa lures still work. nothing new on classic (f - cd - j - sr) series?

Just received my August/September issue of "In-Fisherman" magazine in the mail today. On page 19, in the "Staff Noteworthy & New" column it has the Clackin' Crank reviewed. They are advertising a $12.99 retail for the new lure. Seems a bit pricey for this lure, doesn't it?

The Clackin Rap, or Clackin Crank? Unless they were talking about the CNR-09...

Sorry about the typo, I have fixed my previous post. Yes, the new Clackin'Crank is advertised to retail starting at $12.99. Just seems a little high considering the two technologies that created it (the X-Rap & the Clackin' Rap) both retail for under $10 bucks in similar sizes.

Ouch...well, that will at least ensure that I work harder at picking the only colors and sizes that I need. Is that price for the CNC-74? I can't imagine it being for the smaller version, the CNC-53 - there is a very big difference in size between the two...

Actually it said that retail will start at $12.99, so that implies to me that the larger of the two will be even more expensive.

The "BTR" X-rap looks cool, what does BTR stand for? is it brown trout? Thats what the colour looks like to me, looks kinda like a brook too. The one underneath is an old colour i know, glass ghost GGH, always worked well for pike for me, so if anybody is looking to buy an xrap, i would certainly recommend it

I don't have a link for you to look at, although the review might be on the "In-Fisherman" website. I got my information from the August/September issue of the "In-Fisherman" publication. On page 19 they picture and describe the new Clackin' Crank, and list its price to be $12.99.

Ted, When are we going to see a review of the other stuff you got from Rapala a while back? Any chance of a Clackin' Minnow review? Need any help?

Those pics are such a tease, it would be nice if they would allow you to buy the whole set of lures. It is very hard to find all of the DT lures up here.

Nice to see the MaxRap in different sizes. It is such a beautiful lure. Same for the FlatRap.

The X-Rap in the trout colors is so sick! As well as the mini fat raps, like you said some rare lures are not rare anymore. For fishing at least, as a collector i will still be looking for those vintage raps.

didn't catch anything yet on the maxrap, but it looks really a catcher for pike to me. And love the new DT colours and I am happy with the bass catcher JSR in yellow perch colour. Would be a killer for them
