All this talk about FCW made me decide to take a run to a local trading post. I was able to pick up 3 #5s and a #7. While I was there I came across some fine looking Rapala boxes with the words....brace yourself................ Limited Edition. These are rattling Tail Dancers in several sizes. Colors that I liked the best were the different variations of chub.
I don't really think these are new, since they are at this place. Makes me think their run is over and this place is trying to clear em out.
I don't collect them, but if people want them, I can grab some up for you tomorrow after work. I checked Cabelas, Gander, and Bass Pro, and didn't see them there.

Actually, all Tail Dancers have rattles in them. If you recall I remember them touting it as 'the first balsa bait with rattles'...so Im sorry to burst your bubble. However...if you check rapala.com, I think some of the colors have been 'retired', or at least not being displayed on their current color place. So you may still have found something...

Yeah, I think you're right. Rapala doesn't have but one chub color listed. This place had three that I had in my hand. I might have to start collecting these. They look so much like my Wally Divers they gotta kill the salmon and walleye!!

I have found the emerald shiner color in 7 and 9 are great baits for walleye. The taildancer has a nice wide wobble. I still keep some wally divers around for their smaller profile but the taildancer is a solid substitute.

Only thing is wally divers are fairly cheap. Half price of a tail dancer. Especially buying used groups on ebay. Like a sore dick, can't beat it.

So those you may want to jump on...
