I've noticed this before but does anyone know why the RCW pattern is different from the Original DT series to the DTF series of crankbaits The DTF version of RCW looks like shit

When Rapala does stuff like this it kinda ircks me The RCW pattern is a great color and they go and put a half ass paint job on a lure and call it RCW

Many, Many examples of Rapala doing this to seemingly good colors. For every good change they make 10 bad ones. They should do a little research among the people who use/buy their lures. The could send me some and I would give them my 0.02

I slayed smallies one day on my dt fat 3 in RCW, most were 16-18 inches which is a nice size for around here. I also picked up a few smaller northerns with it. its one of my fav rapalas in my tackle box right now

I'm kinda diggin the Red Craw on the flats......
I like the hint of gold scales on the sides. But I will admit I like the Red Craw on the normal DT alot better.

Im not really fishing yet this year, I tried a few casts with ultra light gear a few days ago but had no luck. The big smallies should be coming up the river soon so ill have to try more "panfishing"
