Anyone use the Glidin Rap? any success, any customs out there? I havent seen many out there & the few I have are like 15 bucks, are they worth it?

Ive thrown it every now and then, but my tackle is a little on the lighter side. I do like them, but I wish they came in a size 10 or something. And I am working on getting some customs done

They worked great on My pike trip to Canada this year. CHB- chrome blue was best color. Rod, Stcroix mbc70hf , reel Abu garcia winch, line 20lb fireline, leader cortland tie-able stainless 35 lb. Best pike on this set up was 41" Bought a lot of 12 lures. Will sell 6, code GLR-12-OPSD x 2,SFL,HO x2, CHB 12.00 each + shipping. Jim.

I bought one of these a few weeks back, and it is now my new go-to lure. It is quite tricky to get the gliding action, but once you get the hang of it, fish just hammer it! I got mine for pike fishing here in the UK, so they're a bit too big for bass, but brilliant for pike and other big fish. Mine is in banded black, which is hard to get hold of, but you might be able to pick one up off ebay. hope this helps

I think the logo for the "rare & special" thread is the banded black glidin' rap, or it certainly looks like it.
