Correct me if im wrong, but Rapala stopped making #7 and #9 Magnums right? How hard is it to come accross these, like in old tackle shops? I'm trying to get a hold on some of these smaller models for seatrout fishing, and freshwater fishing. Unless there is a better rapala to use for seatrout fishing. The reason im asking is because last winter I made a trip down to midwest florida, and trout fished for 3 days at the mouth of a river that was feed by the Gulf, and had no luck at all when it came to seatrout........ Sorry about making you guys read all this crap

I dont no about that strain of Sea trout . But just for instance I kill'd the fish yesterday on SR 5 PW's . We were jigging for cod when we realized the fish were coming up under the boat . I started throwing the Shad rap and it was fish on for hours . Like being at a trout farm . We caught sea trout blues yellow and few coppers " the colors are all differnet kinds of cod " .

Anyone know of a good grouper lure, for casting in 20-30 ft of water?

Ah i see now, any other freshwater rapalas that rock in saltwater? We throw RNR's in the surf here . Other than that I'm sure you could probaly use any of them . Just have to remember to wash them down when your done that salt eats them fast .
