Hi folks. I've found this NIB CD3 in a mat green color in one of my collection boxes. Don't now where and when it came from. The box is like new, unmarked back side and have no glue spots and no hanger. Is it a JS, cause I seen this mat types in different colors on J-5's, or was it apart of a special pack?   |

That color code MGR " I think its Matte Green " but not positive . And it is indeed a Japan lure , and what they call a Hajime Muratta Special . He is a very poplular fisherman in Japan . They were sold seperatly in several of the matte finish's . CD's Jointeds and they did a few colors of Husky Jerks as well . All of which were in the really small sizes for some reason . |

The matte finish is indeed a strange concept. Then again so are lures that are universally one color like the Murata specials.

Ok, it'd be useless, but I'm seeing that thing turned into a custom camo Rap. Matte green? Really? Who'd a thought?
